Try getting car jacked in South Texas. The ONLY reason I wasn't grabbed and likely beaten to death was my ability to quickly put a Glock in that frickers face.

It's like eating a black and white cookie. The key is to get some black and some white in every bite.

I heard on W&J this morning a guy called in and said there's no purpose for a handgun other than killing people.

I don't really want to try to shoot a snake with my .270, so I picked up a .22 mag

It was based on a very long career's worth of experience where generally when you see a rig like this, the person with it is generally an a-hole who probably has a serious problem with authority or is a freaking lunatic who is looking for trouble.
You've got issues. Your lack of logic is astounding. I keep mine in the space between the seat and the console, essentially as easy to reach as that holster. I guess I'm an a-hole who probably has a serious problem with authority or is a freaking lunatic who is looking for trouble.

I like to keep a gun on my ankle, waistband, chest holster and wallet holster. I tell the cops about the gun under my seat. It's so funny that he thinks i'm then unarmed, i get a kick out of it. They think they so smart but they not.

Wag is clearly the type of LEO that gives them all a bad name. I'm picturing Farva.

So where can I pick up one of these holsters?

This brings up my point. Why do I need to tell a traffic cop I have a gun and show it to him. I am being stopped for a TRAFFIC CITATION. It's none of his damn business! I usually don't tell the cop because it's a non-issue. All it does is make things more tense. It's like being pulled over for speeding and when the cop walks up saying "um officer I think you should know that I have a knife in my pocket." Just give me my ticket and move along. No disrespect to any LE, I just think there are much more important things for them to worry about than how/where I keep my gun.

I think this is why so many people are upset with Wag's comments. He is making a broad assumption about an entire group of people that is completely unfounded. When I read his OP my initial thought was "That's like saying anyone who has a gun intends to kill people/cops with it." It is extremely biased and it concerns me that there are people out there enforcing the law that would make snap judgements like that based on the type of holster someone uses.

I'm not in the culture, but I watch a LOT of gun shows. The consensus is, it's just a good idea. Carrying a gun brings with it certain responsibilities. I will never carry, but if I did, I'd follow the advice those shows provide.
