I just ordered a 2015 X19 with a Yamaha VF150 sho on the back. Tournament series with dual console, extra seat in middle, ski tow bar, power steering, hot foot, trim tab, 80 lbs thrust trolling motor and recessed footpetal, and rear entry ladder. What's the OB thoughts? Any kind of add-on that yall have experienced to be really useful?

I thought about it but with a 80 lbs thrust trolling motor and a general anchor. Is it really that necessary for $2500?

Yes. I have the h18 with an 80lb thrust and I wish I had poles. That will be my next buy.
May want to have those little retractable ratchets installed on the trailer to tie down your boat. They make life easy.

What's wrong with the regular tie down straps that come with the boat?

Have a Xpress h20 bay boat and love it. I put the boat buckles on mine and they are nice. also 2500$ is worth it for the power pole. I love mine and use it every trip. So easy to hit a button and drift and then Re anchor without stopping fishing. I have a 70 lb thrust minn Kota riptide on mine And it is plenty. Plan on doing 80 lb I pilot soon. Also ditch the humminbird factory gps, it's junk and get a Lowrance hds.

I just knew what he was talking about and googled the image,I don't personally have them.

They bolt to the trailer so you won't lose them, but I would imagine that backing them into the water (especially salt water) will diminish the life.

Mine are three years old and the saltwater has about ruined them. I paid 60 for them on sale. I will replace with the stainless ones soon. I like how quick and easy they are

H18 with 115 yammy 4 stroke here. Traded my GTR rig straight up for it and bought a kirks mudboat too.

Super happy I made the trade because I think the xpress is the perfect all around Louisiana boat.

Rode in my podnas x19 with 200 vmax Saturday and that thing is a bad mutha fricka. If speed is your thing, the upgrade to the 200 may have been a good idea.

A good GPS/sonar would be something other than the usual hummingbird "fish finder" that comes with new rigs. Other than that, sounds like you have a fish ready rig.

Not a fan of them. Buddy's hull had a defective crack which they replaced. Seems like it's not uncommon.

Not sure on the sho, he walked out the door with pretty much the same rig as you except the upgraded engine, from Crowley, for right at 27k after ttl.

His can go 73 for sure. I didnt want to see it go any faster...

He must've gotten the standard features only. And yes I am doing it through the Crowley dealership. What's the OB opinion on him
