Nope. This is something different. Go look for yourself.

For example, they only have one Glock for sale and that is the 43. They only have 29 different pistols and five of those are out of stock.

They've also shrunk their AR15 offerings as well. Weird.

Sounds like a cash flow problem, not paying suppliers etc.

My guess (and this is about the overall market, not just any one site):

there was a lot of panic buying before the election, which falsely inflated the market. Get it while you can, if you will. I think that was the case with the ARs, I got one and haven't shot it much since. But I now have one, before sales were banned ...

Other guns- the market is fickle right now. A lot of it is aimed at compacts for CCWs. Sig is about the only maker actively marketing a fullsize, with the Legion series, otherwise it's all small and plastic. Now that Beretta has lost its contract, I expect we'll see the end of the 92 series.

Metal guns are under attack- the CCW crowd says they are too heavy and don't want safeties, so they are vanishing.

Surplus guns- I'm into these, and I can say the market is dried up. Last wave I bought into was the Star B Super, and there hasn't been another wave since. Oh yeah, I did get a Zastava CZ99 for real cheap, but those didn't take hold in the market, not like the Tokarevs, Makarovs, etc.

I'm waiting to see what's next, but I don't know that there is anything else. Israel is dumping guns on the market, but those are things like CZs, S&Ws, and HiPowers, and those waves already came and went.

Same thing for the old revolvers. The various old police and security guns were cheap when they hit the market, but now they are rising up and quantities are scarce.

Seems like there are some foreign brands that are trying to get into the market, but they can't make any headway. I suspect the Arex, for example, will be gone by this time next year. The Turks made runs with the Caniks, but those are gone now for the most part.

There's the 1911 market, but that is oversaturated.

True but your theory falls short when they aren't even carrying Glocks and two months ago I could get any Glock I wanted on that website. .45's have disappeared for the most part as well.

yeah, things are drying up. Cole's on gunbroker, AIM, Classic etc, they don't have half the selection they used to, and the prices are up on what they do have.

Perhaps the dealers bet on the panic sales, and now that the market is "safe", they are backing off. Most places have to buy the guns they sell (usually at a bulk rate), and were able to move a lot prior to the election.
Now that Clinton and the anti-gunners are out of power, there's little rush to buy a gun NOW, and those dealers don't want to stock up on things that they might have to hold onto for a couple of years.

I'm now seeing the entry level ARs like the S&W M&P Sport 2 at lower than it was before... maybe some guys got caught with a pile of guns that are no longer in that high a demand. They either have to eat the cost of stock and ride it out, or sell it lower to maintain some cash flow.

Betting the Glocks you seek might be the same issue... those available at discount dealers have already moved, and they're hesitant to get another bulk deal for fear that they won't sell them as quickly.

Maybe their inventory is now an accurate reflection of what's actually available? I had a bad experience in the spring buying a Kahr CM9 from them. Gun was in stock I bought it. My credit card was billed the next day. Never received confirmation of shipping so I sent customer service an email nearly a week later asking them to check on it. She said the warehouse my gun was ordered from had delayed shipping (the website confirmed that AFTER I completed the order), but didn't actually confirm the order. The next week I contacted CS again as I still didn't have confirmation of shipping. This time I was told the gun was no longer in stock. CS claimed they just discovered the prior day there was a software problem communicating some of the orders to that particular warehouse; funny, there was no software problem billing my credit card. I told them to ship it the next day or cancel the order and issue a full refund to my account. To their credit, they promptly issued the refund. I can't prove it, but I suspect whether the gun was in stock when it was ordered. I don't plan on buying from Gunbuyer.com again. That's the only time I've ever had a problem w/ an internet gun purchase.

Bought two AR15's and a S&W MP Shield as well from them last two years. No problems at all.
