Aside from high-fenced hunts, what do you have against the hard work that goes into a well-managed piece of property?

So if you have a high fence it negates all the hard work that goes into managing a piece of property?

Why hunt at all if you can't be proud and excited about it?

I still get very excited about killing deer. Hell I still get "buck fever" sometimes and I've been hunting since I was old enough to hold up a .410 slug gun.
I just don't see the point in showing off pics of button bucks and 80lb deer. That's me personal opinion. Like I said I AM NOT BASHING THIS GUY. just the choice of another hunter to "brag" about killing such young and small deer.
I've got pictures of does that I've killed nut I'm not posting them on public sites to brag about.

The day I don't get "buck fever" from seeing some antlers I'm hanging it up.

Absolutely not, I only mentioned "high-fenced hunts" because he has made it clear that he disagrees with them. Meaning, I want to know why he wouldn't be proud of killing a fair-chase buck on private land

I would love it if La would implement an antler restriction. We have proven we can grow big deer if they get a chance to grow.

I am thoroughly convinced the 3 on one side rule has done wonders for the deer heard where I hunt at in Arkansas. It may take a while for it to work its way through the heard but when it gets going its on. I have seen more bucks in the last 7 years than i did in the first 15 years I hunted the area I am in. No longer are they spikes and forks, but instead are good 8-10 pts.

Doesnt look like bragging to me. Being proud of an accomplishment and bragging are two totally different things. And that's your prerogative to post or not, I personally am super proud of any deer I kill.

I beg to differ, well maybe not in the rice fields but in the cypress brake behind the rice fields.

My FIL and BIL used to kill 10 bucks a year each, if it had any kind of horns they shot them. The past 10yrs they stopped doing this and they have killed the biggest bucks they have ever killed. They don't shoot anything now unless it's a good racked buck. My BIL killed a 150"+ 9pt a couple days before Christmas.

I would love antler restriction and strict enforcement of it in LA.
