Shut up Mullet suggested someone start a wildlife photography thread, so here it is. Please feel free to share whatever you got!
I'll begin with some photos from the last 6 months or so. I use an old canon rebel t3i with a cheap canon 75-300 lens.
Bald Eagle (Gulf Breeze, FL)
Baby Cottonmouth (Perdido Key, FL)
Raccoon (Radnor Lake-Nashville)
Barred Owl (Radnor Lake-Nashville)
Mama and baby deer (Radnor Lake-Nashville)
Buck (Radnor Lake-Nashville)
Pileated Woodpecker (Radnor Lake-Nashville)
Poult (Radnor Lake-Nashville)
Water snake (Radnor Lake-Nashville)
Garter Snakes (Ozone Falls-Tennessee)
Red-shouldered Hawk (Acworth, GA)
Black Bear (Cade's Cove-GSMNP)
Barred Owl (Ruffner Mountain-Birmingham)
Groundhog (Franklin, TN)
Cottonmouth (Perdido Key, FL)
Baby Rate Snake (Gulf Breeze, FL)
Bald Eagle flying over the Grand Teton

Tennessee has groundhogs? Didn’t know that.

Mostly from an Antarctica trip last year (everything but the Manatees and Ocellated Turkey).

Saw these guys in South Texas last week. Didn't have a big zoom with me.

Quality isn’t that amazing because I had to screenshot a video I took, but this is a jumbo (150lb+) yellowfin tuna getting airborne to eat a flying fish

That groundhog pic of him just chilling is great. You can get close to them or was that zoomed in a good amount?

I don't know if this qualifies as wildlife, but I caught this happening in my shed a few years ago. My neighbor and I killed a case of beer watching this happen over a couple of hours.

Lake Martin (LA) rookery, circa 2003 ?
I always referred to the picture as "spoonbill twins"
*NOT my picture ... Grandalas which are commonly sighted in Nepal, Northern India, Katmandu, and SW China.
Such a mesmerizing blue color
can barely notice the females , until picture size is blown up

That is impressive folks. May be something I would like to get into with a little more time on my hands in a couple years.

Fourchon La…. Looks like a painting after the filters are used.
Fourchon also
Took this one last week on my drillship. She has been a a resident since we’ve been here for the last three months.
Found this little guy on the ground full of cobwebs. I clean him up and he flew away.
Nene the coon was our pet for almost a year.
More of Jack and Diane on my drillship.
Leslie, the Possum was also a pet for about six months.

Great pics....
sidenote - thats always been my one complaint on this site, is not being able uploading pics. (yes I'm old) instead of having to post them online somewhere else and then copy the image here.
