Seriously. I went this morning and 3 of us limited out in 15 minutes. While standing on levee near blind on way out they were still coming into decoys. Could've easily killed 50.

I've never seen it this good, this long into the season.

Is it the drought?

Duck #'s are good, this year. Great weather during hatching season, or something like that.

I was told by a guy involved with DU that teal numbers are at an all time high in the history of recorded duck numbers.

I don't know if that's bullshite or what, but I did see an actual study that said it was on a 23% increase from last year...

Also, it's fricking sweet. Teal season is my favorite type of any hunting hands down.

We need the drought to end after this season though. Also need some help from the new farm bill or the future could get a little iffy. At least thats what ive been reading in all the reports.

Yeah man that's awesome. I'm pissed I haven't had mine. GoPro received it early week and I haven't heard anything about it since then.

Didn't you say you thought it was a battery issue, but turned out it wasn't?

What's the warranty policy on the camera?

No but I have been keeping my ears open on that issue but nothing new yet but I know its still on the books. Was reading in F&S and WaterFowler as well as DU mag that there is a good chance that there will be major defunding for the programs that deal with protecting and restoring habitat. Also something how there is a big push in the Dakotas to start farming marginal land that is usually potholes.

It's apparently not a battery issue, but I haven't heard from them about what the problem is. I'm gonna call them tomorrow. Warranty is 1 year and all I had to do was pay shipping and I think they're gonna send me a brand new one.

If you say so, the marsh is ruined. Hopefully some feed will get back into the ponds before big duck season. This is not the way i wanted to start my last year hunting before I move for a couple of years.
