Thinking about being in a duck blind, which probably won't happen for another 3 weeks at times I literally find mysel getting short of breath when looking at reports of limits

I get them bad. I'm usually fully stocked and ready to go for deer season in July. Then my shite just sits there for months staring at me.

I'm itching to be in the woods so bad it's pathetic and I know hunting this time of year isn't near as good as it will be in a month.

My dad is living at our camp in Woodville and is going to tear some woodducks arse up tomorrow morning, whilst black powder hunting. I'm going to be working in Houston, like a bitch. So yea...I feel you

I burnt my buck tags in AR already and was content to let em rest until next year. Now that the deer are processed, I'm wondering if I should try deer in louisiana, or some other kind of hunting, or just fish.

Over the last couple years, I have slowly over come my withdrawals of the outdoors.

Guess it is something to do with just watching game do they own thing. I been getting out a little deer hunting and seeing a few, but I just been letting them walk. I just think back all the trouble of cleaning one. Besides, the hogs had just about wiped out the deer heard on my place. It is one of the reasons I been getting out there to try to kill them suckers off.

The only thing that does drive me nuts is that I miss offshore fishing really bad. Even though I could go with some friends, I don't want to chance it screwing up there trip if I get real sick which can happen in a heart beat.

I get testy if I have nothing planned for the upcoming weekend. Three weeks without outdoor plans, I would probably hurt myself.
