I am always amazed at how people come up with scores for deer, some are honest and accurate and some you just shake your head at and wonder how they came up with that number, below are some pics I pulled from the Boone and Crockett site that have know official scores, lets play a game and guess the score and after a while I will post the official score (these are all Net B&C scores)

I will do a few at a time and add as we go along if it we have fun with it?

I initially thought the first one was smaller too, but he has the mass the second wider buck doesn't so I flipped the scores.

One thing I've learned from these threads... Make a guess in your head and then subtract 10 inches from your guess before posting.

I'm not a very good judge of scores, but my Dad killed one in Missouri a couple of years ago that was as massive, but wider than #1, and it scored in the upper 150's.
So you're probably right.

#2 in second group is the Milo Hansen buck, current typical world record, north of 210

Pretty damn tough coming up with an accurate net B&C guesstimate from only a frontal picture. I'd guess they both gross somewhere between 150-160 though.

I'd say they probably score around the same, mid 150's if I had to put a number on them.

145 for both

On second set of pics, that narrow rack one is interesting, kinda hard to tell but I think he is surprisingly big like 165

pretty good guesses, pic one and two are both an even 160, which is minimum to get in the awards book

pic 3 is 160 2/8

pic 4 is current world record and comes in at 213 5/8

pic 5, I have trouble believing it, but somehow he scores an even 201

the last pic is 197 5/8
