South La has saltwater fishing, but other then that it sucks for hunting. Central La is decent for both hunting and fishing. North La has better hunting and freshwater fishing. What say the OB on the best part of the state for an outdoorsman to live.

this is probably the only thing that the Alexandria area will win

just that fact that is is central in the state, has a shite ton of public land, lakes, and you can still access the marsh relatively easily

Really a toss up. Depends on what you like to do. I always felt north la is better for duck and deer hunting but in south la you are closer to saltwater fishing..

NWLA only really offers good freshwater fishing. Turkey is better in central LA. Deer is better in NELA, and ducks are better in NELA and south LA.

Two different worlds, and it all depends on what you like to do. Not a huge deer hunter so I'd be perfectly fine hunting/fishing SLA. Venice is just on another level imo

If public water - maybe. But lake St. Francis in Delhi is cranking out some big arse bass...the ouachita is producing numbers and darbone / Camry always have good bass fishing.

Private places like the old smith lake in morehouse parish - no comparison - big arse bass and crappie.

Maybe. But not by a lot. NELA has some pretty stout bass fishing.
