For duck hunting, focus along the Mississippi.
Plenty bass fishing in the rivers and lakes if Arkansas. Missouri has small mouth. You would have to get down into SW Missouri for the good ducking and the farm hunting can get expensive, like in Arkansas and Mississippi.
Bass fishing not abundant in Kansas or Iowa. Those people come to Missouri to get on our lakes.
Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes. You would get to ice fish.
Public duck hunting in Arkansas means you get flooded timber in Bayou Meto and some other WMAs.
I'd look at the Arkansas location.
