Where to fish Thursday? Cocodrie or Hopedale?

Cocodrie. Lots of limits coming from there. Especially going towards Fourchon

I was leaning towards Cocodrie. I usually run west and hit the Sulphur Mines. I'm not very familiar with anything to the east of Cocodrie.

Caught a 3 man limit yesterday behind timbalier. Had friends in two other boats all do really well yesterday at wine island.

Everyone did well yesterday because it was slick dick. When the winds pick up it'll be a different story

Yup. Went out today and was rough as all get out starting mid morning. We managed to get 71, mostly 14-16" trout on the west side of the island. Had a handful of 18-20". Heard one boat was actually on the south side of the island doing well so we tried but was way too rough. Water still looked good though. Our trip was supposed to be Thursday but we bumped it up to today because winds are going to pick up thru the week. Saw lots of sharks chasing trout.

I think we are going to run to hopedale. I can always get out of the wind if it is too bad. I'm hoping since its on a Thursday the rocks won't be slammed packed with people. Hopefully we can put some fish in the boat.
