re: Where are the wood ducks and why do I now have teal?

I will try to rephrase my question as people seem to be missing my point. This is a pond that we have had a lot of success with wood duck and mallards over the years. This year it is basically zip on wood ducks. Nothing. You don't hear or see them flying at all. However, now we are basically getting all kinds of teal coming in. My question is why this year is different than the last 14 years we have shot ducks here.

To summarize:

We know how to hunt this pond and have had success on it for over a decade.

It's not like the ducks are just flying by they have left the whole area.

That's kinda what I was going to say. Not sure I'd say "never" use it again but too much pressure and they definitely will move- at least for a while.
