does it bother you much?

Personally, I like the look of a wood stock that shows signs of being used but not abused. Gives the stock character.

Better than being a perfect safe queen, I reckon.

About like getting a scratch on a new truck. I'm pissy about it for a little while but I get over it rather quickly

few years back i bought a benelli montifeltro silver for dove hunting only. Well 2nd yr i open up the gun safe to find out that somehow the gun rubbed agaist another gun when door shut and got a chip in the wood. I wanted to immediately order a new stock... $1800 and chipped wood But i got over it, its just a gun. I take care of ky guns but if they get a mark on them shite happens.

The first time I went hunting with my dad he got me a 700 bdl.

We went to west texas. I slipped like 10 feet down a hill.

The rifle went with me. It go broken in good.

How to properly break in a new rifle.

Adds character to the old 870. If only every scratch could tell a story

look at it not as a scratch, but as a scar, it takes on a whole different meaning...
