Fastest boat I was ever in was a Allison Craft. Dam boat was clocked at 111 mph. Guy that owned it had to replace the lower unit about ever three months.

Of course he has full safety gear. Kind for boat racing.

I have a Lowe ST175 Stinger; about 18' and I have a 60 hp Merc.......I don't want or need 1 more hp.

I had a 115 on a 17'. That's the most it's rated for. I think the 18' is rated for 150

Need the big pitch wheel to keep the rpms down below the rev limiter at 6200.

Yeah sorry my arse just pinched a hole in my seat watching that video. I'll stick with my 50MPH. I don't need to get to a fish that fast. How much boat hangs in the water at 90? Maybe a 1/2"?
