1. Figure out max ranges you'll need to shoot at.
2. Figure out what ammo you'll be shooting (bullet weight & muzzle velocity).
3. Figure out height of sight/scope above bore centerline.
4. Go to JBM ballistics calculator and see trajectories when sighted in at 25 and at 50 yards. LINK
I was gonna use 50 yd sight-in, until I looked at the trajectory I'd get with a 25 yd. zero. I went with 25 yards.
