This is a ecodiesel thread and a truck thread.

There is no financial way to justify the ecodiesel engine vs even the 5.7 hemi let alone the gas 6.

You don't see more diesels in passenger vehicles in the US because there is no economic justification for the manufactures to do it. For all of the R&D and certification that has to happen, just to be able to sell it in one market, it ain't worth it. We're lucky to have the ones we've got.

A former used car salesman just told me there are numbers on the window sticker that if read in reverse will tell you the lowest they can sell that vehicle for. He claimed it's so every salesman can walk up and if they don't know the vehicle by memory a quick glance will give him his price point. Anything over that is what he would make.



That was used. Nit sure if true .. you take a picture of the window sticker?
