Fortunatly by balls aren't sagging to the point that I need a special device to reach them

So your dog has never gotten any antlers?

You can stain them, but not sure how it'd come out. Try YouTube.

I don't have a dog and the one I did have I damn sure wouldn't give him horns to chew on. If I thought that little of the horns I wouldn't shoot the deer.

So you only shoot "trophies"? How do you cull?

Be careful if you try to take them off. They might split if they've been there a long time.

You could strap a set to you wife's head and take her to the woods. OR you could go shoot a bunch of rabbits and make a fortune selling jack-a-lopes. OR you could go hide em in the yard and have a redneck easter egg hunt with the kids.

That's all I got.

Don't have any elk to shoot at. I wouldn't give em those either though. There's enough other bones in a critter for em to chew on. I'm keepin the pretty part.

Every buck I shoot is a trophy to me. I don't hunt managed property either so no such thing as a cull.

Something always needs to be "culled". Whether you use that designation or not is up to you.

About the only thing I'd shoot with "cull" in mind would be a 200lb spike or a doe that either has a fawn late or has her buck yearling following her around at 1 1/2 years old

Hang the whole thing in the garage/bedroom and call it a day! Seriously though, you could probably spray a coat of bleach on it to get rid of the green and then rinse it off real well. Taking it out the elements should stop the deterioration. There's probably some taxidermy spray or epoxy you could coat it with. We keep a few racks outside under the porch of the camp and they're fine.

Everyone should start sending their cull buck horns to PETA. Just flood their local office with horns, squirrel guts, pictures of dead deer etc...

Yes I'm mad. My little cousin is on a tree hugger kick and decided to tell me all about the evils of hunting over the weekend.
