What should I do with all my old appliances?

Got all new kitchen appliances, and I was thinking all the ones I replaced would be great for a hunting/fishing camp. They work perfectly fine, just was time to update the kitchen.

I also have a bbq pit that I recently replaced as well. Old one works well, just needs a new home too.

Is craigslist my best bet with this? Should I try and sell everything seperate? Or offer as a package deal? Will I even be able to sell this stuff or just have someone come take it off my hands?

Not looking to make some large profit or anything, just didn't know what normal protocol was with old appliances. Anyone have advice?

TIA

They'll sell quick on Craigslist, but they have some crazy people lurking there.

If you have Facebook, that may be a little safer. If you can't sell/give away there, then I'd recommend CL.

If it works people will buy it. Lot of people are going through tough times now and can't afford new appliances, but are in need.

I sold all my old appliances on Craigslist in about a week.

When I listed it, I listed a "full package" price, and the separate prices. I was willing to give a discount to anyone that bought all the appliances.

I think I made like $600 off all the appliances, and they were in pretty bad condition.

bring stuff to Habitat For Humanity.

Your tax write off will be bigger than what you can sell the stuff for.

Yes the fridge is included. Its being used as a beer fridge right now, but the SO will just have to part with it. The garage is way too cluttered with all this crap!

I thought about donating it all too though, will have to look into that.

No but I can get some. I guess I'll have to get pictures of everything regardless.

What are you looking for? I actually know someone else who is looking to get rid of their bbq pit.

If you are OT rich and itemize you may come out ahead donating and deducting it.

something nicer than mine... mine is an old gas char grill with one level that has seen better days. if yours is a half way decent one its probably a step above mine. this one was given to me as well.
