Look for a RIVERS WEST WEATHER BEATER, Goes into its own pocket, rip stop breathable lined. $89 for the suit.

Simmons has them in Bastrop if you can't find any closer.

Why all the hate for Frogg Toggs?

I was gonna pick up a suit for the SO and I for tailgating tomorrow. I have a North Face rain jacket but it can get hot as hell even unzipped.

Grundens or Helly Hansen. Helly Hansen is what the fishermen around here have been wearing for decades.

Some years ago a good friend of mine went on his first hunting trip to Alaska. He brought Gore Tex for his rain gear. Wearing the Gore Tex, he said he got SOAKED every time it rained; his guide was wearing Helly Hansen and stayed dry. He said the blowing rain penetrated the GT while it didn't penetrate the HH. Thereafter, he carried HH on every hunting trip to AK.
