Hayden, Routt County, CO Farms and Ranches For Sale - 56,050 Acres

quote:

Located in northwest Colorado, the 56,050 +/- deeded acre Cross Mountain Ranch represents one of the largest and most diverse recreational and operating ranches on the market today. A wildlife preserve stretching over four counties and 168,000+/- acres of leased National Forest, BLM, State and Park Service lands, the ranch is home to North Americas largest elk herd. It is an ecologically diverse landscape with several miles of river frontage on the Yampa, Little Snake and Williams Fork Rivers and numerous other streams, lakes and ponds. With valuable and historic water rights and within forty-five minutes from the resort town of Steamboat Springs and twenty minutes from a commercial airport, Cross Mountain Ranch is an incredible legacy ranch and investment opportunity.

I refuse to think about it. Work needs to be done and I don't need to be in lala land dreaming of impossible things.

But if I did win my first big purchase would be land up around port gibson or vicksburg. Maybe make an offer to nocolors for his place. Then I'd buy a place in colorado to get away from the heat 3 months of the years. Would also hire out or buy a personal jet to carry me to and fro. Might even get up in Canada and look into buying some duck land if I've already got a jet hauling me around. Probably use the jet too go to some of those elite european resort beaches and bring some ladies back to bang on my jet. Although it may easier just to buy a big arse boat and bring them back there instead of going back to said jet. After doing all that I'd return to my MS farm just in time to make a Fall hunt and relax for a few weeks before starting the whole process all over again.

my purchase would be something similar to this

That will be the captain's launch for "my" powerball boat.

In all seriousness, $440 is going to be the cash option on the jackpot (vice annuity), so your after tax income is probably going to be closer to $300 to $320.

But that's still 1/3 of a billion dollars. You take that money to a financial expert. You pay him half a million a year or so to manage it and draw an allowance of between $1 and $1.2 million per month and leave all of the principal to your kids.

That's great-grandchildren elevating money, right there.

Something similar to that and I would call up Jeff Farmer and inquire about the White Oak Duck woods even though I'm sure he would tell me to kick rocks.

I would buy a very large track of land and would rent everything else.

Why own it? Want a yacht--rent it and let someone else keep it up.

All of Jackson Bienville WMA (former) would be a privately owned dog hunting paradise, open to any dog running supporters of the OB.
Complete with a lodge filled with full time chefs, hookers, and unlimited whiskey, of course.

Why spend the money on fences? Just use a POSTED sign like the douches in south Louisiana do
