That's what my friend said. The pattern and color is weird. Plus he's thick. Her friend is a snake expert and about 10 minutes ago right after someone posted western rat snake he replied "western rat snake"

That's partly because he's so stretched out from the rats that you're seeing the skin between his scales.

Judging from the shite on my treadmill that I cleaned the snake wasn't the only thing that was healthy

Rats were big dudes

First guess would be gopher/bull snake, but those white spots on the edges of the brown blotches are throwing me off.

This is the closest I can find, so I'm going with just a strange color phase texas rat snake that is bloated from sitting full of rats in a hot garage.

Well then, if he isn't a rattler (which he isn't) he isn't poisonous

First thing I checked was the tail (make sure he wasn't a rattle snake) and then the head (for shape)

snake looks like it's starting to decompose and is swollen.

Oh, and,

MIL unloaded some shite on me

Forget the rat or snake problem, this is bigger than them. NEVER let someone start storing shite at your place. Worst idea ever. If you can't come up with an excuse then flat out tell them NO. 90% chance that stuff needs to be in the garbage anyway.

I will guarantee that the snake is not poisonous.
