I far and away drink more bud light than anything, but the 2 beers I've been drinking a ton of lately are:

Parish - Envie

and

NOLA - hopitoulas

I feel like there's some cult in Baton Rouge that sends out a signal any time it hits a shelf. I found it at lunch one day in Monroe, but it was a business lunch and I talked myself out of it.

Domestic: Miller Lite and Budweiser

Craft: IPAs, pale ales, brown ales, stouts/porters, Belgian whites, tripels, saisons, and some sours. Generally pass on things with a fruit in the name.

Favorite Birmingham beers: Good People's IPA game is on point. IPA, Snakehandler DIPA are Hitch Hiker "Alabama IPA", and Mumbai Rye are all great. Trim Tab makes a great IPA as well but their Pillar to Post Rye Brown is delicious. Avondale makes some interesting, to say the least, brews. Ms Fancy Tripel and the Spring Steet saison are my go to's there. The Vanillaphent porter is pretty tasty too but have to be in the mood for it.

Outside of Birmingham, without a doubt my go to is New Belgium Fat Tire.

Miller if I'm having more than 2. Otherwise, Truck Stop Honey, Miss Fancy's, and Killian's currently.

I did their brewery tour last June, knew Louisiana was next on the distribution list. They spend months building up stock before moving into a new state.

sam adams boston ale if and when I can find it, sam adams boston lager all other occasions, both are like an old plow mule, you know you're going to get consistency and effort every time, unlike most of the "racehorses" mentioned here...

Try one Swampbandit. You'll thank me later. Their Oktoberfest product is solid as well.
