Yea, but malaria is not an animal nor is it alive. Mosquito bites cause more deaths than hippos. Feel free to to continue saying hippos are the most dangerous animal if you like though. No skin of my nuts.

This sounds like s great excuse to get a 470 NE double rifle I've always wanted, but don't want to go to Africa, so I would have no use for!

What do yall think would be the most recommended hippo caliber by the OB?

375 H&H
50 BMG
243
Judge

The correct answer is: Tikka

I wonder if we could rig up a serious enough rotisserie rig to do that bastard like a pig. Do you have to scrape hippos?

What gallon pot would it take?

I remember as a young'n helping (probly just getting in the way) the old timers scrape big hogs. They'd have em layin' kinda on a downhill trough, so that the boiling water would drain off. My granny and all the old ladies would be boiling water in cast iron pots in a big fire. They'd bring the pots of water and pour on the hogs while the men scraped.
Dang,,, that doesn't seem as long ago as it really is! I think I need a nap.

I bet all that time spent in water makes them very tender. Prolly about like manatee.
