What brand steel toes you baws recommend?

I like my ariats. Tried red wings but they were too hot for me. It was between Justin's ariats and red wings. Whatever you do get some insoles.

Super comforable, made in 'Murica. Not overly clunky sole. Western style walking heel. Looks just like a plain cowboy boot. I wear mine all the time and forget they are steel toed. Love 'em. Not a bad price either.

I've always liked my Red Wing boots.

Long ago I had a shoe geek splain to me that a big difference between shoes is the glue they use. They are all well made ruged boots with very little difference tween the major brands. A major consideration should be odor, do they amke your feet stink? Some glues react to yor natural foot sweat and stink some dont. What smells like leather on my foot may stink on yours and vice versa. After testing a few major brands i found red wings did not stink on my feet. Take em off stick my nose in and smell leather. So I wore them for many years. For my home wear I went through the same process with hiking boots and settled on timberlands they not the best boot or worst most expensive or cheapest simply the ones that dont stink on my feet.
