Being afield on a crisp fall day with a fine side by side is one of life's joys.

Yep... I have a 16 Fox and a 20 Parker. I held a Lefever 20 that felt grand in the hands, but the barrels were toast and I passed on the gun. I have been dreaming of a subgauge Lefever ever since. Preferably graded F or better...

1. Beretta
2. Sako
Don't really have a third as I like browning, Remington and winchester the same.

I have become enamored with the 28 gauge here of late.

Rifles (bolt or semi):

1. Remington

3. Beretta

Semi Auto Handguns:

1. S&W

3. Beretta

Revolvers:

EDIT: Let me add that I have limited experience with shotguns and revolvers. These are all just personal preferences. There could be better ones out there.

Most of mine are 20's, a 28 is in the future at some point. I almost pulled the trigger on a CSMC Inverness O/U before the promotional discounts ended. Perhaps I will get a 28 when they come out...
