How does the OB feel about the Sig line of rifles? I love my p226 (40 cal), and have been looking at the m400.

Mostly the commercial brands that don't follow mil spec...

Dpms, Wyndham, bushmaster, the cheaper value psa stuff, RRA, stag are all commercial ar builders. They work for the most part and a lot of people are very happy with them but you won't see the same build quality as a colt, bcm,or DD.

The M400 is a solid rifle. Had mine 2 years without first issue. Some will argue they are better built than Colts and have additional features at a very competitive cost. Will not disappoint

If we're excluding the 4k+ rifles like Nemo and JP, the top 3 are

Noveske
Larue
KAC

Took one out and it was consistently outshot by lesser ARs

For the average shooters at least myself and a few guys I hunt with Rock River, Armalite, and Sig are all pretty top of the line for our budget.

I can vouch for this. The only mag it held the bolt back that I tried was lancer. I wanted one but I realize there are far better guns with much more reasonable prices.
