what are the highest calorie food bars for bug out bag

Looking for light weight food options for bug out bag. What bars do i need to be looking for? Dont they make some high calorie ones?

Just get some MRE's and strip them down. Those things are freaking ridiculous with calories.

not sure on baby ruths shelf life... and as far as mre goes, they are normally loaded with sodium

Powdered peanut butter is high in protein and will keep for a year. Just mix w water.

im really just slowly putting together an emergeny bag to leave in truck. Never know when something happens.

You take this way too seriously. Any gas station has Supreme protein bars that are almost 400 Cal for $5/pair.

i know about cals in gas station bars. But I dont want to have to keep buying them every 3 months when they expire, and i doubt a gas station will be open for me to load up if there is some sort of emergency/natural disaster.

KUIU backwoods food bar recipe - 434 cals per 3.15 oz

Edit: didnt read title clearly. This prlly wouldnt be an option for shelf life in BOB.
