Sure that was today? There was one shot in Carnarveon during teal season. Would be crazy to kill another one up here in the same year.

I have killed a bunch of them in Argentina, none up here no prettier waterfowl IMO.

It was shot yesterday. His buddy also shot a double banded teal the same hunt. Unreal

That's damn near unbelievable to have two killed in our area in one year. You just never know anymore....

My first thought was it was the same bird from September picture just recycled through the net.

To me that is the holy grail a banded Gray duck. One that I haven't killed with a band on it. One day....

It's like I have the plague or something. Buddy shot a banded teal earlier this season. Duck flies right in front and I tell him go ahead and take it. Duck has jewelry on. My luck.

earlier this year I had a nice sprig come in single on my side, got up and got hung up in the canes on my way to shoot. SOB was banded really ticked me off but he was pretty happy that's all that matters.

Hope we have the same in the morning. That little warm up sat and sunday has us worried they may push north until Monday. We'll see.

They will still be there my fear is that they will get lazy and loaf around and not fly too much the next few days and just raft up. I think there will be birds it will be just getting them to work right and fly.

Blue I know your friend. Their hunt was unreal it looks like. I'm sure you'll have zero problem shooting some pins

Yeah it was pretty incredible. We shot our limit, but spent like 30 minutes trying to figure out what that bird was when he sent me a picture of it.

They were confused as to who shot it, so they're splitting the cost to mount it.
