I've had gophers since I bought this land, but everything I've seen before had a large dirt mound around it.

Each hole is about 3-4in around. There are probably 8 within a 10 foot radius.

What is it?

You can only see about 6" down so that probably a good guess.

Go get smoke bombs at the fire works stand and put them in there and cover hole with board and you will find out

Yeah that's definitely happening.

I had a skunk living out there last fall So it's very possibly him. I forgot they even dig holes lol

I've had armadillos making holes in my front yard like that. Haven't been able to catch them doing it. Kids saw one waiting for the bus one morning.

Do they keep going deep, past six inches?

Idk. Didn't stick my hand in there lol. It looks like it's maybe a foot or so deep.

On a side note, there is one hole that is a couple inches deep. Looks like it was dug by a dog.

I'm really thinking skunk is my answer...but Google can confuse the hell outta you. Armadillo, skunk, huge arse snake?

I would stick something down there to see if there is a bottom or not.

If it looks like a tunnel, just go to the tractor supply and get one of those things they sell to smoke out moles...

I'd stick a hose down it and turn on the water slow
