Well, I'm married to one so I can tell you that's true.
But just telling you in my experience that's what most night nurses are like. Not to say there aren't good ones. I've seen plenty of them. They pretty much always correlate to what nursing school they went to I find.
And as far as the 18hr days during Katrina comment, what the frick does she think I was doing then? Bowling?
My whole summer after Katrina was 18-20 hr days. I fricked my back up extremely and probably lost 10 years off my life just due to sleep deprivation then.
No offense to your wife, but she's proving my point taking a sweeping statement on a message board from a stranger so personally.

I'm just stirring y'all both up, she lurks and says shite I add to it to piss her off. I need to change names. She's a damn good nurse, heard it from too many Drs to think otherwise. Mean as a rattlesnake when I'm sick though. Her sponge baths suck.

Clinic nurse is living the dream.
You know the key to running a successful clinic? Hire hot nurses. I'm dead serious.
IMO ICU and ER nurses are usually the best. They're pretty much capable of running the place by themselves and don't take any bullshite from patients.

I've got 2 fulltime and one partime. In 10 yrs of practice, I've never had all of them in a good mood will no drama going on EVER!!!!

The one I had today is definitely marriage material for somebody. She's a good gal. I had her when I was here last week and she is scheduled tomorrow.
