Water coming in my boat?

I have a Skeeter Bass Boat and ever since I have owned the boat water has always been getting in. I run the bilge pump every time I go fishing. I brought the boat into the dealership last year and they resealed around the drain plug. This did not work.
I brought my boat in last month and they said they could not find a leak. They told me they put the boat in a pond and after 15 minutes there was no leak so they took it out. Today when I launched I went slow. The carpet on the back deck was not wet and I checked the bilge compartment and there was not any water there after launch. When I slow down I do it gradually so I don't get that backwash. But after 4 hours of fishing I had to run the bilge for 45 seconds before I loaded up.
Is this normal to run the bilge every trip? How much water in the bilge compartment is considered to be normal. Any ideas on what I should do?

We have a similar problem on our nautic star but only with live wells. Both love well valves are closed and switch is off, but every now and then they will somehow have 1-2 inches of water in them.

Fighting the same thing with my Xpress. Check all your aerator connections. The quick connects they use now will leak if they are not really locked in.

Last week I kept both of my livewells empty (free of water) the entire trip and water still found it's way into my boat.

So there is water coming out when you turn the bilge on? If not the water isn't getting in the hull it could be coming through a bad scupper in the back

When I turn the bilge on it pumps water out from a hole on the top of my stern.

Ok well disregard the scupper then.

Is there any way water could be getting in when I run my big motor without it being from back wash?

You have to have other through fittings in the hull, what are they?

Get home put plug in... Put water inside the boat and wait to see where it drips from

The outer 2 are the drains for each livewell. The middle 2 are the pumps to fill each livewell.

this is what I would do as well...let it dry out good and then put water in the boat while it is on the trailer.

Ok, I'll give this a try. I hope this is a minor issue that can be solved.

I would investigate the plumbing to the live wells. I have no real idea how these are plumbed up in your boat but if you can pump water in and out there is opportunity for leaks wherever the water comes in at and along any hoses/connections related to that and those may leak regardless of whether the live well is in use or not. Particularly if it is a leak on a hose or where the hose is connected.
Just a thought

Fill boat with water from hose. Fill livewell 1 then 2 then bilge. Did this with my old Xpress and found a hole in the hull that was covered by a trailer bunk.

Do you have a water pressure gauge or a speedometer? If so check both of those lines (small rubber hoses about 1/4" diameter). Although it is more than likely a loose or cracked thru hull fitting. Just had this problem on a buddy's nautic star. luckily it held long enough to get back to the dock but we took on a bunch of water while sitting at grand terre. I now carry extra plugs in case one were to break again.

Check:
1. The live well overflow. If you are using a live well for dry storage. I had this problem. You will have to plug the overflow in the live well/dry storage compartment.
2. I you have a screw in drain plug there is an "O"ring gasket that will dry out and crack resulting in water leaking into your bilge compartment.

I can almost assure you that it will be something minor....typically is a hose or fitting inside of the boat that is leaking. you may have to be a contortionist to fix it, but it won't cost much of anything.
