Link added. Not sure if discussed or how new or old this is, I just wanted all to be aware if issue still exists.

True for 3 1/2" SXPs
quote:
Winchester Repeating Arms has discovered that a limited number of SXP (3 ½" chamber) shotguns (also called the Super X Pump) may, under certain circumstances, unintentionally discharge while closing the action. Failure to return any affected shotguns for inspection and/or repair may create a risk of harm, including serious personal injury or death.
If you own one of the following firearms, please immediately contact our Winchester Consumer Administrative Center to find out if your firearm is affected and should be returned. Please be prepared to provide the serial number of your firearm.

I think you should reconsider your thread title to something more specific about the recall...
Thanks for sharing the video btw.

Done.
What's really crazy is some random guy figures it out but it isn't caught in the 1000s of hrs of design, build, test, etc.

Ol boy sounded like he was pissed off that his new gun wasn't working.
I guess I would have been a little hot under the hat too in that situation.

Am I the only one who thinks he manages that recoil very well for only having his hands on the stock.....
I'd expect a little more recoil than that from a 12 gauge.
