Hamilton's lunker was caught on a red Rat-L-Trap in Negreet Creek

Good lord. Tell the world...

When they post this article about me it's going to say...

quote:

Tipton's bass was caught on a hook. Location? He only smiled and said, "In the mouth"

UPDATE: A 12.47 was just weighed in yesterday.

If you fish Toledo Bend and don't have a red Rat-L-Trap in your box, you're doing it wrong.

Good point, he probably caught it some place like Turtle Beach which always produces, and just told them it came from way back in the back near the creek.

Good to finally read that line. Seems like a lot of the lunkers recently haven't made it back in.

Im predicting the record falls before end of 2017 spring fish...Weights have gradually built for the last 5 or so years like they did in the early 90's....its about time for a 15 or 16 to be boated...wouldn't surprise me if its this season or next but 2017 is my bet.
