When I was 10 years old, you could not convince me that that swamp ride wasn't the coolest thing since buttons on a shirt, ha. I might have a different opinion as an adult!
We have a camp on the Ouachita around Bosco, pretty close to the Hebert area (kind of). Not surprised to see good bucks from that area, nor surprised that they got dead, ha.

We use to run dogs down there before it became a WMA with the guy who started those rides(rest in peace Elsie T)We've rode all over that place. I rode every ride until they cut out the drinking

I've been hunting at my BIL's place closer to Fort Necessity when I make it home to visit family. Wish some of those bucks would rut their way in that direction.
