I went to listen this morning and ended up hearing 5 different birds. It was a beautiful morning to experience the woods waking up. They gobbled on and off the roost.

Looks like it will be April before I get up to my lease to try and shoot some

Where in tx?

Was driving in West La last week, had about 12 hens and three gobblers in full strut on side of road. I turned around came and went back to get pic, when I rolled the window down they are gobbling their asses off.

I got some iphone pics of them. I was on the phone on speaker, and the guy I was talking to asked if he had heard turkeys. THey were close and loud.

Got two different flocks of jakes and hens (11 and 15). Mayb e next year
