Turkeys off of hwy 22 near madisonville

My wife and I saw these 11 gobblers today between Madisonville and Bedico . This was the first time ive seen them, and they were about 50-60 yards off of 22. Im pretty sure they werent tame. Anyone else seen any close to there?

I've seen them and also seen several deer at the same fence almost every day the past two weeks in this area. Said fence is along 1085 close to 22.

Yes have seen them. There are turkeys around in the area if it just werent for all the damn subdivisions......

Yeah, that area South of 22 all the way to ponchatoula is full of em.

I have a buddy that lives a mile down from that and we shot a couple of turkeys off of his front porch

The subdivisions are ruining their habitat. If I were rich, I'd just buy the land for hunting. If only...

I'm south of 22, west of Ponchatoula and have had them in my back yard. See them sometimes near Rosaryville. They seem to disappear during the season.
