Finally got around to editing some video on the tuna trip we made last week. We had a solid deep drop bite with tilefish. Then headed south for some hammer YF. biggest one was 102. Hope yall enjoy.

Nice vid. Y'all ever get called by platforms to stop flying drones? I would imagine they're not too happy about the potential security issues and safety issues with incoming and outgoing birds.

Nope, we only saw one on the way in, but we had enough fish and not enough time. We left the floater at 8:30am, and got back to my house at 730 PM

honestly,
the music was so loud when the drone was out while fighting a fish, we would have never heard it. not sure what they would do though.

i fished out of Venice Friday and shot some morning riding out footage, and forgot to get some on saturday/sunday out of fouchon (when all th fish were caught)

I caught some flak that Saturday for hailing "elusiveporpi" on the radio 
Wish I would have brought my drone that weekend. Slick calm and no wind.

I've gotten a lot more comfortable with it. Made a offshore video a few months ago and was fine.
Except for almost losing it to the VHF antenna

How far out did you find the YF ... Hopefully the weather holds and we wil head out next weekend
