I have been invited to go on a Chartered Tuna trip on Monday. Just curious of the weather reports and what the action has been like. It has been a while, will be excited to be back on the water. Thanks in advance.

Youll catch tuna if out of Venice. This time of year the weather is more of a factor.

Those captains down there always post on instagram and people who are there always upload pics. If you have an Instagram account search for Venice Marina and cypress cove the most recent pics will show you how everyone has been doing down there.
Not the most accurate but you can get an idea if you don't have someone to call.

Last Friday
There was about 30 boats at the Horseshoe, mostly charters and a lot of bent rods. So they are there

Thanks bro, looks like chumming and drift line fishing.

Last saturday a boat swept the tuna entry of the tourney I was in with three over 100lbs, one being 188lbs. The fish are out there, it's just a matter of not getting your arse beat getting to them.

That's what we were doing, and pretty much everyone else. but I caught that one on a diamond jig trying to catch kings for chum (they are real bloody)
