Trot lining an acre pond....
What's the best why to do this or is the pond too small? Should I tie bank to bank? Should I use cut up bream or other shite that works or shiners? Or go the old School way with turkey necks, gizzard, etc.... Any experience out there? I only have largemouth, hybrid bream, and blue channel in the pond. Any decent advice would be appreciated.

I wish I had trout lining my pond. I think my water is too warm though.

I believe the term you are looking for is "trot lining", but if you are catching trout, please show me this pond

I think you mean "trot lining"...

and the answer to your question really depends on what you need to take out of the pond....a pond that size needs to be managed pretty closely, as taking out too many or too few of any species will throw it all out of kilter...

We ran one bank to bank on a pond when we were kids. Cut the corner with it and didnt really have a boat

Caught a few mud cats and 3 or 4
Cottonmouths

like someone else said, i'd just jug it unless you have a shitton of cats in it. if you do, i'd go bank to bank at the farthest points. when i was coming up we would run 2 lines in a pond not much larger than the one you are talking about and would catch more than we knew what to do with

I have good luck on what we call "bird lines" in ponds like that. Trot line with main line out of the water, and drops hanging down a couple inches below the surface. I bait them with crawfish and live perches. Good beer drinking type of fishing.
