I left early Thursday morning for a north LA squirrel hunting/bow hunting trip. As of late Thursday night, Karen was projected to be a hurricane off the coast and the tract was steadily moving westward, so I left early Friday morning with my camper to return to Lafourche Parish. By the time I arrived home, the storm was being downgraded, etc. etc.

I cut grass Sunday when the storm was supposed to
arrive.

I am 63, and since I was 10 I only missed the opening weekend of squirrel season 5 times when I was working in Florida.

I am not vindictive, but someone (read weather persons) should be punished.

Not really, I saved some friends the trouble of going down.
Water didn't do much in elevation, wind was a breeze, good 'cane all in all.
Fished today, did better off the dock yesterday.

Iwas at the 56-57 jct, nothing too worry about there. Water didn't get over the side road at any point.
