Summits are comfortable but a lot of them are too heavy for me to want to hump in for any distance. I love the portability of the Lone Wolf Hand Climber (sold it) , but that is one uncomfortable stand IMO. I've gone to a hybrid saddle . Mobile and comfortable. Not for everyone but it works out well for me.

One of my attempts to better the API. I sold it after two sits. Liked basically nothing about it but the weight.

Conclusion:
quote:
Stress calculations and experimental testing
showed that imperfections in these chains would
not contribute to a premature failure under normally expected use. Imperfections in both cases
(assuming that the chain cracks occurred in manufacturing) were very obvious and totally unacceptable for manufacturing quality for the chain.
However, neither imperfection was capable of
producing failure under design use conditions.
Instead, conditions outside of normal use were the
probable cause of both chain failures, even though
the failures occurred at imperfections.

Brother, you are a BOSS! Thank you!

Now I can go back to using my stands without undo fear of failure.

I recommend Summit. They have several to choose from. You can’t go wrong!
