Had a pleasant surprise, I let this 12 walk half a dozen times last yr when he was in low 130s. Finally decided to show back up. Sure am glad I let him walk.
The other ones are still sticking around and getting filled in too.

Wish this forum was on Tapatalk so I could post pics from my phone. I had a nice bachelor group of three good bucks on camera at the property I bought this year. Surprised d to say the least as I really wasn't expecting much for just putting corn and a camera out. One is a main frame 8 with rear forked main beam kicker while the other two are large 8pts

What county? Those are studs, especially for Georgia. When I started looking at this thread, I was saying to myself, damn, I can't compete with that over here in Georgia.

Hope to get up there in 2 weeks. Haven't put anything out yet.

Finally got to put out cams when we went down last weekend. This big bastard had busted into two of our protein pens so got more hog pics than deer pics.
Still got a few decent bucks on the cam though.
Not sure what to think of this deer, will probably give him another year and see what happens.

Helluva bear, do y'all have a season over there? If so you should make him a priority. Would make an awesome rug.

There's some good deer out that way, especially towards the south end of the county.

Seen all those, just no where to hunt them and if you do find a place, you are not by yourself whether you are supposed to be or not. Parents used to live right on the river, we'd watch some monsters travel that thing.
Bow opens next Saturday with weather forecast high 81 and low of 61.

STUDS for sure. Looks like we are mainly going to try to kill bacon around here. Dang hogs have taken over. Only a few pics of deer. One new one and the second pic is a 9 year old on down hill side.

They changed their summer pattern literally the day before opening day, hunted that Saturday eve but let it rest the rest or the week. Irma came in that Monday so winds really picked up Saturday night. That bitch blew every acorm in the woods down and the deer pretty much quit moving. Was an October lull in Mid September. Finally started moving again once most acorns were eaten or rotted. Getting same good ones on cam and occasionally 10 min before dark and after daylight . I'm uploading pics now but I'm ITT so it's taking a little while. Will post them shortly.
Any or y'all having any luck? Any new deer on cam? Miller Man, I'm sure you've got some to make mine seem like babies .

Same 12 I left walk last year. He's coming in once or twice a week, haven't got a daylight picture of him all year.
This 10 went Mia for a little while, finally shower back up past week. Was in yesterday morning at 715, didn't follow same path today.
I guess I'm glad he didn't because It would be very difficult passing on a 135-140 inch 10 pt anywhere in the country, especially middle ga. But, I'm afraid I would have to do so because the Nontypical "Corkey" is making a daylight appearance once or twice a week. With him being semi regular I'd hate to mess my chances up with him to shoot any other deer. The 10 is 100% a trophy in my book, especially with a bow, but Corkey is a deer of a lifetime. Would y'all agree or am I crazy?

I wouldn't shoot anything but corkey, that's a giant buck! I hunt piney woods where a deer is lucky to hit 120s fully mature I couldn't imagine have a card full of those beautiful bucks. What you think he scores? 200s?
