Weather looks suspect Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Where are you staying?

Do you stay in there or fish other creeks?

No, North of San Miguel, the next big creek on the La side.

We caught enough sac's Friday to say "we caught em'" and have a good fish fry for 10 folks, but after the front passed they shut down on us Saturday. Rained all day Sunday so back at work now. The ones we caught were some nice slabs though. Shiners under a cork tight against the bank in creek fingers with a pretty steep drop. Fished mostly in United Bay and Slaughter Creek. Caught a few bass on fluke and buzz bait in the evening over grass in about 6' of water.

Appears I will never hit that lake right for that event.

Very interesting. We tried shiners, road runners and tight lined little plastics. We may just trailer further south if we go this weekend and try to see if we can get lucky.

I'm headed out back to the camp tomorrow (4-9-15) for 3.5 days. Who's got the report around Negrett creek?

My dad has been throwing a black and red speed craw for the last two weeks. I caught a few on a junebug/chartreuse lizard.

My last trip two weeks ago had very little on the bank. I suppose I'll try both to see what's hitting.

Two different sets of grass, and yeah, I am guessing both would produce.

Caught 13 keepers Wednesday biggest around 5lbs, average around 2.5lbs flipping a speed craw. Went bream and perch fishing with the kids yesterday only caught 7 bream, 2 perch and a few bass.

Neighbors caught around 150 perch the past few days on shiners and jigs. All big ones too.

Trokar hooks are shite when used with braided line. Lost several fish due to the hook opening, swapped to a heavy Gama and didn't miss another fish.

Damn! That sucks. Only ever had that happen once and it was a cheap Academy brand hook.
