Off to Toledo Bend this weekend. Got a cabin off 1215. Beer drinkin, football, BSing and fishing. Weather looks good. This will be the first time out there for most of us. Any tips for Bass and crappie?

Bass fishing has been down for us on the north end of the lake. My dad has been catching the white perch at night under lanterns.

Key pattern right now is submerged cover with a heavy set jig. East of the pan handle on the north side of the lake is on fire. Good luck

Cool front coming in and blue bird sky and a stiff north wind on the lake. Better bring plenty of whiskey, beer, and camp fire wood the fishing is gonna be rough!

Went 3 weeks ago and murdered them. Fishing late summer pattern in creeks and Schoolies in main lake. Caught a ton around structure not grass. Laydowns and docks. Good luck.

1215 looked terrible with the lake being down. Fish are moving towards the back of creek arms. Find an arm with plenty of docks and throw a shaky head.

Thanks for the replies. Can't catch fish sitting at home.

Will post what we catch.

White perch? Is that an albino bluegill or something?

Obligatory OBC reference.

I'm really jealous about the cabin and fishing, that sounds nice.

Nah. I'm not on anything out there right now and I'm about to hang it up for the year with OK duck season opening in a few weeks. I'm tempted to go back to Toledo on Saturday because of how good I caught them a couple of weeks ago, but it's going to be hard for me to drive down there to fish a post front day. You fishing it?

Thinking about it. Just got suite tickets to the game this weekend though. Gonna try and weigh in at 3 then shag arse to BR. Everything I've caught out there has been under the slot for the past 2 weeks so I'm on the fence. Toledo was on fire when we went. Caught 3 over 5lbs one evenin. Good luck to you sir.

That it is! Just talked to my dad, and they caught 7 keepers yesterday and he said probably 15 throwbacks. Had 3 over 3. He also was idling through some rough water and a wave brought him down on top of a stump and cracked his hull.

Bite is pretty tough in Lanan past couple days after the front, everything has been off deep points near the creek. Gonna trailer to Indian Mounds tomorrow and waste some more of our time.

Anybody having better luck finding fish?

Few here and there. Yesterday tried with minnows in brush piles for crappie. Few with a few cats and a white bass. Today we tried bank for bass. Picked up a few. This evening worms along deeper ends of boat docks in a finger. We are in a camp off 1215
