We have a guide we use every summer and the six of us plus the guide and first mate routinely catch anywhere from 80-115 as long as the wind is not blowing every sunday in June and July. He has his own spots that he keeps brush in and always puts us on the fish. We put in around 7:30 and are usually done by 1:00 with a limit or close enough to it. Using minnows and fishing about 15-19 feet. Cost me about 675 bucks a summer to fill my freezer with white perch.

I know him as Captain Mike. My buddy sets it all up, I just show up with an ice chest of beer and 100 bucks plus tip if we have a first mate. He lives right there on the lake as we go to his house and clean the fish when we are done.

I usually come home with 3-4 quart bags of white perch and I break those down into smaller servings, since only the wife and I eat fish. Usually end up with a bag of catfish filets as well.
