We are going to Toledo Bend in early February for a bachelor party and we are looking at doing a guided trip. We are staying on the south part of the lake and would like to find a guide that fishes fairly close to us. I saw a few mid-lake guides that do barge trips for up to 8 people and that seems perfect, I was just wondering if anyone had a recommendation for guides on the south part of the lake.

I used Coon's guide service last year and was very pleased... He has a 24' pontoon boat that is setup and ready to roll. We launched at cypress bend park and had a great day...
Here's me and pop.

Living the Dream. We use them every year. Sometimes more than once a year.

There's a pic of me on their website. In the 2013 section :csb:

Nah, he had lawn chairs and ice chests.

No offense to Stexas or Coons but that's not much of a catch for a day on Toledo B . LTD or Joe Joslin is a solid bet.

Pretty much every time I've gone with LTD, we've limited out before noon.

On the Joe Joslin website..

I'll go with Coon's and be able to drink a few beers and be much happier. Just me though.

That's who we go with every time. When we get back we sit under their dock and they feed us even more liquor while they clean the fish.

Damn I can't wait till April
