Anybody been lately I have a two day club tournament this weekend just trying to get an idea where they are holding depth wise.

I haven't been in a week and a half, and the lake was windy as hell! That being said, the fish are pretty much done spawning, I did catch one good female that was still on a bed, but the vast majority are gonna be in deeper water with grass or stumps. They are coming up early in the morning and late in the evening to feed and can be caught on topwaters(chug bugs, Ribbits, etc.) then.

I'm also headed back up this weekend and I've been talking to some people...as rballa said, it is pretty much post spawn up there and most fish have moved to depths anywhere from 8-20 ft....jerkbaits and deeper cranks have produced some nice fish as well as your typical soft plastics...forecast has winds around 10 knots for the weekend so it could be worse! Hopefully we can find em and have a good trip...where yall gonna be staying?

So where can I get an Alabama rig here in BR? Or do I have to order one or wait to see if Toledo tackle has any?

I wouldn't count on it, Academy in BR sucks.

Maybe Superior or Bowie, though

Academy on Seigen in BR is currently hands down the worst Academy I've ever been to.

The only plus is that they will replace any broken rod without asking questions, or for receipts

I like the cranks but can't catch a fricking fish on them, so I quit using them. The reels seem solid, I just can't use them after using all Revo S and Curados.

Just ran by superiors at lunch and grabbed a couple different ones, knew I could count on Mark to have what I needed...now I just need to get out to the lake and make those suckers bite this thing...
Any of yall have a lot of experience fishing an Alabama rig? Already got my 80# powerpro spooled on my old citica
