Its about that time for a new set, so my questions are:
1. Where are the cheapest tires online?
2. My tires are 275/55/20 and I'm looking to get the front leveled which is basically a 1-1.5" lift. Does anyone know the tire size that will be bigger than factory but aren't huge enough that when you buy them, you get a free set of truck nuts. Looking for a mid to moderate all terrain that will last.

Thanks baws

i've enjoyed shopping on treaddepot a lot. very easy/user friendly site. good prices and good selection. i bought toyo's at's last time, may look at some of coopers next.

Discount Tire Direct was much cheaper than anyone else when I bought tires 3 years ago. Free shipping too

Same size on my '11 Sierra. I've had Bridgestone Duelers A/T RH-S and Cooper Discover AT3s on this truck. Both are great moderate all terrain tires. I got about 70k miles out of the Bridgestones and I've got about 50K on the Coopers with a lot of tread left

is hard to find some place to mount tires ordered online, since you didn't buy from them?

Most tire places will do it for you. When I had mine mounted it ranged from $20-$30 per tire. The dealership was actually the cheapest believe it or not.

treaddepot, i sent mine to tire kingdom (now NTB) to do the install. very easy, had them shipped direct to them.

i've compared a couple coopers on treaddepot and its beating the discounttire website.

online may have cheaper prices, but getting installed ends up costing you about the same. I have the same truck and i put a rough country leveling kit on the front

Leveling kit

and then put some 275/60/20 cooper discoverer AT3 tires on the truck. The tread is not overly aggressive, but does extremely well and rides smooth.

with the larger tires and the leveling kit, my truck looks much more aggressive and has some better ground clearance as well.

maybe so, it may be based on deals or tires... I has those tires installed with road hazard and all at allied tires for 185 a tire. When I was pricing through online retailers, it always ended up coming out to be more expensive once i added in the installation and road hazard.
