It's time to replace my original tires. Looking for some reccomendations, I have ran Nitto Trailer Grapplers in the past and they have done well. I am looking for an aggressive AT or less aggressive MT. I plan to run a 33x12.5x18 tire.

Nitto Trail Grapplers
Toyo Open Country

What are some other options?

I had the open country MTs on my truck for many years and we also have them on the truck at the camp. I loved them, wore really well and did fine on pavement.

I just got rid of a set of Open County MTs off my truck after running them for 56k miles. I wanted something less aggressive than my previous tire but more aggressive than alot of the ATs you see. Ended up with a set of Discoverer ST MAXX and have been happy with them so far but I've only got ~1500 miles on them. Hoping to see similar results with these as I did the Toyos.

I put Gladiator 35's on mine recently and have been happy with em. Aggressive AT tread but not loud on the road. E load range 10 ply, and being an off brand they were 400 less for the set of 4 than the coopers I had been running.

Terragrapplers out of those two.

I like the Goodyear duratracs. ETA Pic.

Put 66k on cooper AT3s. Very good tires, good in the rain. Got a good deal on some hankook dynapro ATMs that I have now. I like the way they ride so far. Haven't taken them off the pavement yet.

I think for all terrains its hankook and Michelin ATMs then the coppers at3s are the best "value" one out there.

Dang. I thought this was actually about shoes. I need some rotors up front and have been wondering which replacement shoes to get.

I have the toyo open country xtremes and they handle good off road but do horrible with a little water on the road...hydroplane city. i have 40,000 miles on them and my next set will be either trail grapplers or the bfg KO2

Toyo Open Country

Goodyear Duratracs are also a cross between a mud and AT tire.

I have 60k on my Nitto trails but on a Jeep. The only problem is the damn thing hydroplanes every puddle like a smooth stone on a flat lake.

ive been running the terragrapplers for 10+ years. Great balance tire of grip and softness, no road noise. But you don't want to put 60k on them. The second you start spinning in the rain when taking off from a dead stop or hydroplanning you should change them immediately. More like 35-40k

I've got close to 50k on mine and share this same sentiment. Still have a decent amount of tread but with the throttle response on my ecoboost, I really have to watch it around turns and off the go in the rain. I'll be going with something different in a year or so, just not sure which ones.

Can I help you with sizes so your not stuck looking at just those 35x12.50R18 numbers?

305/60r18 (32.75x12)
285/65R18 (33x12)
275/70r18 (33.5x11.5)

BFG T/A KO2
COOPER DISCOVER ST MAXX
SOLD TO MANY GOODYEAR TIRES WITH PEOPLE COMING BACK COMPLAINING ABOUT THEM. THEY MIGHT WORK WELL FOR SOME BUT I DO NOT SELL THEM ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THAT REASON.
