Does anyone have any experience with this gun?
I've shot pumps my whole life, finally thinking about getting an automatic shotgun.
it doesn't shoot a 3.5" shell, but the price isn't bad, and the super black eagle is right out the price range.
Any other suggestions?

Great gun. The inertia bolts are very reliable.

I went into a gun store a few years back with the intention of buying a Semi-Auto shotgun as a gift from my deceased grandfather. I could have purchased any gun in the store that day and price was not really a consideration to me because of the circumstances.
I ended up with the Benelli M2 Super 90 (the older model to the subject gun). I tried the SBE, the Beretta, and the Browning guns. This is the gun that felt best in my hand and seemed to just point itself.
I didn't realize that it only shot 3" shells at the time but I'm not a big goose hunter and the few times that I have gone since I bought the gun, 3" shells are more than enough to kill geese. I have never regretted my purchase.

I have the M2 and a Beretta A300. I like the the A300 more.

You'll love it. It's probably my next favorite Benelli after my old H&K SBE. They're super reliable, even more so than the Super Blacks and they'll cycle dang near any shells

Great gun, I bought my son the 20g a few years back. My daughter is shooting it now. You should be able to find a SBEII for that price though.

I've had the M1 super 90 since 01 or 02 and have never had a problem with. Love the thing.

bought my Benelli @ 10 yrs ago- researched it and national competition teams split-half have Benelli others shoot Berettas- Benelli is much lighter than Berettas- mine has been great -no trouble

Going into my second full season with my M2 after temporarily putting away the beretta A400.......the A400 has yet to leave the closet since my first hunt with the M2. I'm a long time beretta fan, great guns that never did me wrong, but just really like the simplicity of the inertia system and the lighter weight.
Full disclosure, the inertia feels like a boxer's jab to the cheek compared to my berettas but don't notice the difference when actually hunting.
